Antichristos

Description

Antichristos is the most direct of the Doors, and the most pointed. It takes a teaching that was long ago captured by an authority-structure — the scaffold — and carefully separates the two: what was actually said and done, and what the institution built over it afterwards. Then it does the harder thing. It shows that the teaching, read honestly and stripped of the scaffold, lands on the same single ethic the rest of the corpus derives — not because anyone decreed it, but because the structure leaves no alternative. Uncompromising and unsentimental, written to be tested rather than believed.
